I do too! I just cannot imagine how much longer it takes on average, after you get that "ahhhhh, it's finished"-feeling at the end of the piecing & quilting! (THAT) scares me. The appearance -- the "look" -- of that edging on (especially) a repro prints-quilt? . . . . . .Sweet!!!☺🥰

Thank you sooo much for sharing this!!! I saw my first crocheted edge on quilt at the Houston International Festival last November. The ladies were selling books & had it on the wall as decor. They were from France. Maybe this is a European/ Australian thing? I'm from Texas & planning on putting this on my grandmother's flower garden quilt. Maybe get my granddtr to help me crochet the border, as I taught her to crochet when she was small. :)). Couldn't figure how to attach crochet, but this is so simple! Thank you again!!

I'm a little confused on this. I'm just finishing a quilt and trying to decide on a binding, I think I'd like to try doing this edge..but as I'm watching it doesn't look like you are doing a double crochet as a base round...could it be because it is the English and not what I'm used to in Canada? I think it looks like a single crochet....love learning something new and I love to crochet....
