Thank you so much for this tutorial, I've tried a few different ones for baby booties, but this is by far the best, and so pretty, we have four beautiful grandsons and we're expecting our first granddaughter in a few weeks, and these are perfect. I have just finished the first one of these, and it's turned out perfect... will do the other one tomorrow, as it's gone midnight here (U.K.) so I'm off to bed, but once again, thank you ❤️

@@gonalvlogs6455 you probably made more than 1 BP hdc in each stitch accidentally that's why you have more stitches. You have to be careful and make sure that doesnt happen.

these baby booties are sooooo cute and they helped me so much. I made them for the first time and they came out so good!! There's just one thing.... After i crocheted the boots and stitched the bow on, my boot was much bigger than a boot size would be for 0-3 months...?? it was abit longer than my palm, but the 0-3 months babies feet size is as big as your palm but mine was abit longer than that. And the bit where you put the bow, that part of the shoe was abit wider too. I don't understand how that happened??? I copied EVERYTHING u did exactly..? I am crocheting them for someone -it's a gift- so please tell me why that happened or what to do so that doesn't happen. Would be a great help, Thank You

I am usually using DK, Aran, or even higher yarn weight...working with a lace is probably a totally different story. :) 2017 will be fun and creative. Love this design but every time i make these shoes i find its way too loose at the back. I find sc2tog at the start and end of 3rd n 2nd to last row and sc1tog at start and end of last row its all straight. Also i use a 2.5mm hook to fit a newborn. Im thinking of continuing sc all round for a few rows to make booties n increasing 2sts st the start of each row

There are two options: use a larger crochet hook and thicker yarn (no changes in the stitch count) or add one additional round to your sole. The second option will ask for changes in the pattern and a couple of additional decreases on the front of the shoe. 🙂
