HI, I will show how to crochet an easy pillow case with cats free pattern. Pillow case consists of well-known classic granny square with the applique of a cat. This was designed by Pony Mctate. This is a great project to use any scrap yarn, result is amazing every time.

Hi, sorry I didn't see your message before. To make a blanket is a great idea as you can make lots of little squares even when you are not at home and then just connect them. You can even not put cats on every square - save some time. But the most important is to choose the right yarn - choose chunky thickness yarn - squares will be larger and you will need to make less amount of squares.

Love the videos , I started making it but one of my cats has the tail to the other side hahaa I might mix it up and make their tales in different directions haha do you think it works for the pillow ?

Oh yes, I did same, but had to do it again because I had to follow the design. Sure you can mix them any way.
