I just used this as a border on a baby blanket!! Thank you! I found other similar tutorials, but this is the only one I could find where you continued in a curve around the corners! I just wish you had shown on the camera how to join it at the end haha that took me a bit to figure out successfully

I believe at 5:41 in the video it mentions to just sew the ends together. I do have a sewing with crochet video that explains that step.

It looks like u slst into one stitch and then started your sc in the next stitch (this being the base going around) and when u got back around u made your corner into the same stitch that you made the slst and then slst into the first sc to join. Do you have a maximum recommendation on how long the chain should be? I'm trying to find a good border for a blanket, and wondered if 10 or even 20 sc would work.

It's more of a personal taste thing. My photo sample at the very beginning and very end is 10 chains and 9 single crochet stitches. To me, that's an average-sized border on an average-sized blanket. I could see it being 20 chains too, and still look nice.
