Hi Amanda. I have to say that you're tutorials are absolutely wonderful!! You explain everything so easily. Thank you for sharing all your beautiful patterns with us. I'd like to also say how sorry I am for the loss of one of your fellow utube friends and someone who we all love and will miss terribly. When I saw that Melanie Ham had passed away I was so heartbroken as I know you and all of her followers are. My thoughts and prayers are with you and her family as well as all her friends. May she rest in peace.♥️🙏🙏

Amanda. This stitch is beautiful. I used it for a baby blanket. I love the way it grows so quickly. I used a smaller hook for a closed up design. Beautiful. Thank you ❤❤

#AmandaCrochets UPDATE: So I started a scarf using this stitch. My youngest son (he's 26), who lives up north, was so sweet to send me a gift on Mother's Day and I was so surprised...he bought me some yarn, hooks, a book on how to crochet socks and a beautiful card and wrote something so nice in it..I will treasure it forever💛💜💛. For me this was huge bc he knows NOTHING about yarn. He sent me RH Soft in the color......black 😬. Okay, so not my favorite color *but* it didn't matter bc to me, it showed that he took the time to pick out a card, the yarn, etc...and that means sooo much to me and it made me cry. It might not seem like a big deal to most, but this is the 1st time he's ever done this...and I've always wanted to try RH Soft. Anyway, I just started the scarf and I'm on my 10th row and it's coming out great, so thank you Amanda, for doing a tutorial on this Iris stitch. Sorry this is so long, I was just so excited that he sent me all that bc I wasn't expecting it. Thanks for reading this comment. xo

Jamie Renee I’m so glad you’re enjoying this stitch and the yarn and other goodies your son bought for you. That was very thoughtful of him! I’m sure you’ll treasure that card forever! I hope your scarf turns out great! Keep me updated!

@@AmandaCrochets Hey Amanda, I made a mistake, my son bought me some RH With Love, not RH Soft. I ended up frogging it bc to me the yarn was too thick. But, I am going to use this stitch, but it's going to be a different yarn. 🧶😊🌼💛🌼
@AmandaCrochets5 жыл бұрын
Jamie Renee sounds like a plan! Although I’m sure it would have looked beautiful in RH with Love too 😊

Hi Amanda thanks for sharing the Iris stitch could this stitch be done in a round I wanted to use this stitch to crochet a shirt for the summer if you can please let me know I would really appreciate thanks so much hugs from Canada 😘🤗💖🇨🇦
@AmandaCrochets5 жыл бұрын
🇵🇹Tina Ferraz 🇨🇦 I’ve never made this stitch in the round before, but I don’t see why you couldn’t. As long as you have the correct chain count, you should be able to make it into a shirt. Good luck!

#AmandaCrochets Hi Amanda! Really like this Iris stitch. Your shawl/wrap looks beautiful and I love the color. What brand yarn and color did you use for it and how many did you chain for it, plus how many rows? Is it like a rectangle shape? Also, did you add a border to your shawl? I would love to make one. Thanks so much.
@AmandaCrochets5 жыл бұрын
Hi Jamie! Here’s the free pattern for the shawl: www.amandacrochets.com/iris-shawl-pattern/ yes it’s a rectangle shape and no I did not add a border to it. Hope you enjoy!
@Pitoonya5 жыл бұрын
@@AmandaCrochets Thanks Amanda. I like rectangle shawls/wraps better than the V shaped ones. I like to wrap them just around my shoulders and upper arms in the house bc I get cold with the A/C on..I live in FL so AC is usually on most of the yr. Anyway, going to check out the link. 😊
