You never fail to deliver a tutorial that is easy to understand. Your camera work is excellent. Your narration is clear, complete, encouraging and friendly, but not littered with unnecessary additions. You are the best crochet instructor I have ever come across, and I am very grateful for everything I have learned from you. Best wishes from the U.S.

Awesome 👏 I’m a man and I used to crochet as a kid while watching my mom. Haven’t done it in many years but the this little girl was crocheting while I was at the YMCA playing pickleball. I told her that I crocheted as a child but thought it wasn’t appropriate for a man but finding out that men like it. So after helping the girl it stirred up my tastebuds and going to purchase some supplies asap. 😆 Love your tuts.

I love that your channel is the perfect balance between slow tutorials (which are great for beginners) and too fast ones that assume we already know every stitch and basically fly through instructions. Even us lifelong crocheters sometimes need to clearly see where you're placing the hook. For this, I sincerley thank you. ❤
@ginazayas1451Ай бұрын
I've never seen a tutorial from Robin that goes too fast. If she ever doesn't give instructions on a particular stitch she usually links a separate tutorial she has already made. Robin, thank you for all you do. I've learned so much from your tutorials.

Well.. i was about to start a baby blanket, as I have the yarn purchased and pattern picked out. Then, I saw this video, and once again, I am changing my mind and going with what my favorite you tube channel crochet lady has taught me today. Thank you so much, Robin. I actually just went through an entire list of tutorials on your page, and I remember seeing almost every one of those videos when they came out. I realized I have been watching and learning from you for a very long time now. I still cannot keep up with what I would like to accomplish from watching you. I am not giving up, though!! Anyway.. thank you for this wonderful video, and for being my best teacher for the last few years!! So glad I discovered you when I was first teaching myself to crochet.

For those asking about the yarn Robin used, if you go to Lovecrafts or any yarn site, you will find a number of beautiful yarns that are variegated and in assorted colors. You can also check out Ice yarn. If you dont already know, just make sure you look at the description of the yarns and make certain it is what you want to work with. Such as worsted or dk. Acrylic, wool, etc. The more you search yarns, the more you will learn to understand and recognize yarns when you see them. You will also find what you like working with and what you dont. Then you can take a tutorial and choose your own yarn and make a project your very own to your liking. It takes some time, but it is worth it. I am learning all the time. But the trip is fun and you will find other patterns and yarns to try along the way.

Newbie here, thanks for the tutorials! I notice when doing a single crochet on the initial chain, you only push the hook under one thread of the V. But when doing a single crochet on the V's over a puff row you go under both of the top threads of the V. Is this just something I need to learn and remember, because the terminology seems to be the same, even though the action is different? Or am I completely seeing this wrong?
