I’ve been growing my locs for 11 years and 8 months. When I first started they were stuck to my scalp and I used to be told to cut them because they will never grow. But now that I’m 11 years and 8 months in my loc journey some people have been trying to tell me that I have extensions. That’s so crazy to me I’ve been doing my own locs for years. Smh

Hi, I’m 6 months in I started with two strand twists. I’m in Jersey so loctitians are a little scarce up here. The back of my hair is fine (as far as I know) and is locing without a fight. But the top and middle top-ish area is stubborn. It’s a completely different curl pattern up there than the back. I want to do this for those areas but I’m not sure if I really need it or not. Can I send you a video to see if it’s time for me to do this method?
