You are living my dream, I'm nearly 70 with 22 years of Naval service, over 17 years assigned to small platforms. That was fantastic, looks like it made for a great crossing, I have a lot to learn about forecasts and predictions. Just left to head south from San Francisco, and the wind was 180 of the prediction, I probably could have noticed the instability in the area if I knew more, or had more experience...I will keep learning.
