How long will they keep in the plastic bag???
@ExceedFishing5 жыл бұрын
if you let them really dehydrate, they can last for months if stored somewhere cool. my ones probably still have 50% of their moisture still so probably last a few weeks.

@@ExceedFishing What about leaving them in the sun before salting them. Does this help??
@ExceedFishing5 жыл бұрын
@@lindsayfraser4791 not too sure about leaving them in the sun, could always try but i feel like they'd spoil before they would have time to cure
@MarcGrayTWOOM3 жыл бұрын
@@ExceedFishing yes the sun would ruin them.

Can anyone let me know, once the bait is cured, what do you do with it for future fishing, do you freeze it, Fridge it, or what? I know you bag it but what then?
@ExceedFishing4 жыл бұрын
If you've dried most of the moisture out and added a decent oil to the bait you can have it last for months just in a cupboard

Use iodine free rock salt fish in my area not into iodine. West Coast USA, add borax soap too speed things along and final Tip mix your Iodine free rock salt with mortan brand course kosher salt. 2 different sized salt crystals makes for more efficient salt and Bait contact.

Her mate yoh should mix into your salt some baking soda
@thedon9670 Жыл бұрын
No. Salt is all that is needed. But you should dry them before putting them in the salt and leave 2 - 3 days.
