I followed this video and my piece came out really nice. I clear coated it with 1 medium coat then 3 wet coats and now it’s dry, I can feel all the areas that were taped off where the paint has built up. How do I go about sanding it now so I can clear it again? If I sand it with all the low and high spots, is it likely to cut through the high spots where I painted the outlines that were taped? What grit paper would I use to prep for another few coats of clear? Also, do I need to get it flat and smooth to apply more clear or can I get away with just scuffing up the clear to adhere the next few coats?
@TimeWarpCustomPaint11 ай бұрын
I would probably use 1200 grit or just a scuff pad will be fine no you don’t have to get it all the way leveled out before re-clearcoating
