Of course! But you’ll need to add ease allowances cos tops/shirts are not usually fitted. And you’ll also need to add to the length to get your desired shirt length, bearing in mind that shirts are not usually like jumper. Ease allowance: 2 inches to the normal bust measurement before dividing by 4. 4 inches to the normal waist measurement before dividing. 2 inches to the hip measurement before dividing. This is the perfect excess I add to any free dress I make and it comes out perfect. I hope I have answered and given clear explanations to your question?
