I didn't know this was possible. I have the pliers, the angle grinder, and the diamond saw wire (if that is the proper term) for my own jobs, but sometimes I have to assist elsewhere, and then this may come in handy. Thanks a lot!

ramjet6666 You are welcome, that was only my second attempt at using this technique. It's difficult to apply the correct pressure and move tile at the same time, but as long as you take your time it should be easy ;-) Thanks for the comment

I was thinking of trying a similar approach myself but was losing my nerve 'cos all the ex spurts were saying you should make multiple cuts with a wet saw. Then I saw this example and went this way in the end. It's much quicker and cleaner. There's a limit to how tight a radius you can manage with his technique but for the example shown and my similar bowed front shower tray it was fine. I wouldn't try anything much tighter radius than this unless you have a pile of excess tiles to play with. Thanks for showing how it's done!

It's near impossible to get the tile to hold still whilst curving the cut in most cutters. I just use a jigsaw and tile cutter blade, zip - works on curves and insets, even did a five cut tile for the kitchen.

Small size of tiles maybe possible. But big tiles like 60x60 not possible .
