How to cut finger sandwiches PERFECTLY | Afternoon Tea

I will show how to get nice neat sharp finger sandwiches using a bread knife so that you can make this easily at home. These fingers will add grace and charm to any tea table and you can be playful with the fillings, there are no hard and fast rules however I do have a few suggestions to invite some ease into this glorious process:
1) Do not overfill your sandwiches
2) Leave the edges clear
3) Butter your bread to avoid your sandwiches going soggy even if you are adding a spread like mayo or horseradish (sogginess is the enemy of a perfect cut)
In this case, I've opted for vegan fillings but feel free to experiment. Classics include smoked salmon with cream cheese, classic cucumber and chive (I have a video for this linked below), cheddar cheese with caramelised onion relish, egg and mayo, beef and horseradish, avocado and chilies and pulled jackfruit with lettuce.
