Your tutorial was really smashing. I have always tried to figure out the jive steps in other videos but could never. I loved your initial slow stepwise action of needle example. Thanks🌹

I love how much attention you draw to technique, I feel like I´m learning more here than back in dance schoo. There Our teacher only told us the steps and roughly the don´ts. I mean later he started to focus on technique, but the others hated it because they just were there for fun, but tbh I think they should have stayed so they realize it´s even more fun with technique. However, my dance partner stopped even long before that so I could only watch and then stopped, I really miss it so thank you for teaching online and for free here, and in detail!

This "Mooch" move was known as one of the 10 "Popular Variations in Latin-American Dancing" from Alex Moore. I realize that if you want to do the flicks in the Mooch in the "Jumping Jive" style, there is something more to add if you want to do this even more "open style." On the Chasses LRL or RLR that end the Mooch, you can even do a "hop" on the free foot that starts each chasse! Not just on the forward and back rock steps.......
