I still feel young and am anxiously awaiting the resumption of the 1-year visa program. To be young and in Saigon is my wildest dream. But I hope to return, even if I'm in my 70's. America is really sucking right now.

These tips must be for Westerners or tourist. After watching your video as a Vietnamese man, I feel a bit sad for the vietnamese girls in Vietnam. I grow up in the US, but I was born in Vietnam and lived until I was 12. I speak fluence vietnamese and I have no problem of communicating with a viet girl. I am 50 yrs old now and I live in the US. When I was in my 20s, I dated other ethnic girl like French, italian, russian, spanish, but in the end I married a vietnamese girl in America. The reason is of the common culture, values and Foods! I am sad because most vietnamese girls prefer to marry a viet guys and most viet guys are not financially wealthy to take care of a vietnamese girls who are high maintenance. There girls often find westerners who can support them financially and a promise of a better life outside of Vietnam. My message to you Westerners if you have good intention of marrying a viet girl please understand what you are getting into. Vietnamese girls are very smart and if you are a player and not committed to her, she will leave you. She will wait until she get her green card and now she will have the upper hand. If you have true intention and dedication, vietnamese girls will love you long time! :)

My cousin is getting married to a Thai girl in Thailand in November. Going to his wedding will be my first time in Asia. I will probably spend a short amount of time in Thailand and go to Vietnam as it seems more interesting to me. I made the mistake of going on a dating site recently, and I do think it is a mistake like the author of this video says. If you are not going to meet someone soon, you are wasting your time and the time of the women by talking to them online. You need to have a plan to go there, and probably a plan to live there long term. This is a difficult thing to do depending on your net worth and career. I am a 43 year old mechanical engineer and I have saved quite a bit and invested, and would like to live in Vietnam full time or at least a good portion of the year. Unfortunately, the investing world right now does not look like it will be making me any money passively from my capital. I sure wish I had a job that I could do remotely like the author. Instead of chatting up girls on dating apps, formulate a plan to make money remotely so you can take the step of moving to the country and getting a girl in real life.

Be confident and work with your strengths. Maybe you are unfit or not cool but you are a great worker and dedicated and can provide. Also i think coffee dates can work really well. Not sure about Saigon but Vietnam have some amazing cool cafes and then have a walk along the river or beach. Thats a humble date and talk about goimf to dinners and can gauge if they are compatible

54 from S florida!! LOVE AMERICA and where i live but let me tell ya. I went to southeast asia for the first time last year and have been to thailand 3 x the past year. Its the only place i have been but in jan 25 i am going to the phillipines for a month and then maybe vietnam. love love love the southeast culture and the women are absolutely beautiful and so much more approachable then american women in my opinion. What you spend for 3 nights in las vegas and a show or two, you can live comfortably for a month in thailand and im sure so many other places . this includes apartment going out to eat every day and also meeting women. If southeast asia was closer i would be there at least a week every month 12 x a year. Great video. just be respectful and nice to everyone!!!!!!

The Philippines I believe let's anyone regardless of age stay for up to 3 years without having to leave the country if you just keep renewing your initial 30 day tourist visa. So right at the moment in Vietnam you have to cross the border every 30 days to renew your visa until they change that law? And I believe you said that's like a 4 hour bus ride to the border? I am over 50 so I could get the Retirement visa in Thailand by depositing 800,000 Thai baht into a bank there, but having lived there in the past I know what a hassle it is. I'm considering visiting the Philippines to see what it's like and also to see if you can just live there for 3 years without having to leave the country.
