I think what Fel was expressing regarding the hat was that he feels a connection to the Vietnamese fight for independence from 1946 Indo-China war against France then later the Vietnam war 1965-75 against US! Long story short The US-West forces used Vietnamese to fight against Imperial Japan expansion then later broke their promises in supporting independence from France after WW2!

There are many African migrants in Vietnam but just know that when they first came there was a wave of crimes committed by them from scams to drug dealing. The govt called up the ambassador of Nigeria and ask that he intervene and ask the community to police themselves so that a better image of themselves can ve protrayed to the Viet people. It worked.

Vietnamese women are almost universally not attracted to Black men but not because of any racism but just preference. It's like asking Black women if they prefer an Asian man.

To be fair, no race is "universally" attracted to a particular race. You have "some" black women that prefer Asian men and vice versa. With that being said, it has everything to do with racism and not because of preferences. Case in point, you can find a black woman with the same body type, personality, characteristic as a Vietnamese woman; the only thing that would separate them is their skin color. If someone's only rejection is based on skin color, then that isn't a preference because there isn't a fundamental difference between a skin color. The skin color preference always concludes with some type of superiority complex which fits the definition of "racism"

In the south where Chinese Vietnamese come from Canton you can speak Cantonese North Vietnam though close to China but there are few Chinese Vietnamese and most of that people can not speak their Cantonese So in the north Mandarin is more effective than Cantonese
