FYI, in thinkorswim on the bottom right of a chart, you can start a new "drawing set" and you won't lose your current levels. Wish I knew this forever ago myself...

Underrated channel! Wish something like this existed when I first started trading. The only advice I would give for newbies is to maybe work your way up to options. Start trading SPY shares directly with a small account to get familiar with price action and how it moves. Then maybe work your way up to Micro futures (MES) and then the final step should be Mini Futures (ES) and Options. Otherwise if you don't know what you're doing with futures/options you're going to blow up your account very quickly. You won't make much (percentage wise) day trading SPY shares, but it's a lot more forgiving and once you can gain confidence and a better understanding you can start using leverage.

They will close odte options on you about 15min to close if you dont. Found this out the hard way, its a rule they made in 2010.

Be careful about misleading people. She talks bout these “special” boxes on her chart she created and it’s literally a free indicator. Its called fair value gap (FVG)

Hey I figured it out! If you’re using TOS you’re going to click on the AT (active trader) in the middle of the green and red columns there’s price. Figure out what price you want your stop to be and click on the corresponding red button. It will show on your chart what your stop is and you can move it up or down accordingly.

Schwab Rep told me i would be limited to 3 trades per week with a 10K cash account trading SPY Options!!! I told her I would call back but I told her I would not fund my account and only have 3 trades per week.

Trade with a cash only account. No margin and you can trade with less than 25K. You trade till your available funds are done and all the sells go into the next day’s tradable funds.

You can open up a separate window and send your contracts to that window. It will show the contracts in candles that you can use to get your entry, stop, and PT levels
