What he said about the 2nd rep being easier is such a good point. After the first pull, you drop the bar straight down which automatically puts you in the right position. It's great to hear someone actually explain it cause I've always known that to be true but never understood why.
@pierceheath2 жыл бұрын
Because you’re working against gravity and gravity wants to suck it straight back down to the center of the earth. The earth pulls on you and the barbell in a straight line to the center of the earth. Plus it’s really difficult to pick up a heavy load out away from your body.

When this guy speaks, I listen. His advice is gold. My main take aways to improve my gym time are: -Always end on a high weight rather than dropping down to a lower weight, highest weight set last. -Target 10 reps for "small muscle" exercises (Lats, Biceps, Triceps, etc.) -Proper deadlift technique.

I've watched that video several times. I think part of the problem he had the head rush was because they / he held the weight up for such a long time. I'm glad he hasn't given them up. I still deadlift 405 for 6-8 reps 3 days a week at my current body weight of 175. It's a nice comfortable weight. Plust i work ten hour shifts. So my 3 day all in one day power lifting workouts work well for me this way. I borrowed it from reg park.
