As Osho always says, paraphrased: "You have lived your whole life without a certain person and then suddenly they appear and when they leave, you suddenly can't live without them." Technically, a breakup can destroy you only if you've already been in deep wounds prior to it. You just became so used to the pain, that you completely forgot about it. So the other person just made you aware of your own wounds. :)

Just right about time. I was with my ex for 14 months in a toxic relationships. She is a amazing person but we don’t fit each other, I felt it from the start. We tried to split dozens of times but came back together. Finally we broke up and I was ok but some time ago a wound has been triggered in me and I tried to reestablish contact with her and we met 1 day ago. We had extremely nice time but it ended up badly. I was Senior job at a law firm and had toxic boss i left but felt really bad I let go such a good job with status and salary and was going through a lot of misery but with that i applied for good jobs and went to a lot of interviews and finally made to a job with good people and good bosses closer to home with better salary and higher status then last one. took 3 monthes to get it but i did best and got it. It felt like going in a desert as i have no support from parents in hope and knowing there is an Oasis wating. Now 7 monthes into the rule i am feeling stable and secured. Great talk and great wisdom from julian I love this guy :)

Ugh, its been over a year and we started texting again. Were all on the same page that were better off alone but it still fucking hurts and I miss it. I hunkered down on my business and school for a year and Im seeing new people. None of the new girls have the same chemistry I had with my ex.
