Thanks for all your videos and Happy New Year! The quality of the content (not necessarily the lighting or anything flashy like that) is the reason I keep coming back to this channel. It sort of feels like a college course mixed in with actual hand-to-wheel experience when I put in place whatever I learn here on the road.

Hi Sat an - Thank you for your comment. Yes, I'm interested in the challenges you face, and what are the temperatures that you experience in the winter. Thank you for contributing to the smart driver knowledge and information. All the best my friend, Cheers Rick

winter temperatures from (rarely!) -10C to -43C. the average temperature (very often) is -27C -35C. (Celsius) problems immediately do not remember, but here's a short: 60% of drivers - do not see each other (when changing lanes, crossing the intersection ...) - Do not observe the distance both from the front and from the side (not everywhere is visible markup) - do not know how to use assistants (ABS, Traction Control ...) - do not understand (or do not want) how heating works, because of which all the windows are tightened with hoarfrost and the drivers do not see anything or banally ignore the car's maintenance - do not observe high-speed modes - do not assess the road situation because of the weather (fog, heavy snow, ice, wind ....) - not knowing how to get away from a collision - not knowing how to start moving on ice ... this is a small part that quickly came to mind.

Yeah, I agree that roundabouts are safe and all, but they do require some getting used to. (relating to 47:36 in the video) I remember the first time I was in one, I heard the grrrr sound as my right rear wheel ended up on the truck apron. I was afraid but when watching your video on Truck Aprons I realised that the road was purposefully built that way. However, in New York's handful of roundabouts, they don't dye the truck apron red.

Hi Byron Chavarria - Thank you for your comment and query. Yes! If an American driver is operating a motor vehicle on Canadian soil, s/he can be pulled over by police and charged under that laws of that jurisdiction. What is it you're looking for my friend?
