Its ok to let your child say those nasty things to a sibling? Shouldnt you correct them by saying thats hurtful. "Wish you were never born"

You can validate their feelings and also correct them. “I understand you’re having a hard time with your brother lately. You’re feelings are valid. You cannot yell at him though these hurtful things. He is a person too. If you’re angry with him go to your room and find some quiet time. You can also come to me and ask for guidance on how you’re feeling about your brother.” Those angry feelings and even words are valid but how we handle those feelings defines the relationship.
