Beautiful! I hv a very large glass floor vases wanted to do something unique this will work. Question: what size stencil did you use around the border of the vase? And would mod podge ? work instead of the primer I hv it.. and do you seal the podge after it dries with what? Spray lacquer? or paint on clear lacquer? This is beautiful piece of art on a vase Perfect!

Hello again, sorry for late reply. The stencil size is 15 cm long and 4 cm wide, but you have to decide what size you need according to your vase size, for large vase this size could look too small. Priming the vase is vital because napkin is semi transparent and without white colour underneath the print will blend with glass and will not be seen properly. After priming you can use Mod Podge to glue napkin. To seal the final product you can use any heavy duty varnish or lacquer in any finish you think it will look nice (satin, gloss, matt). It can be spray ( you have to mask surfaces you don't want to be varnish on), or it can be brushed on, some lacquers are self leveling and if to use it properly will leave very smooth even finish so, will no need or very little sanding between layers. Beautiful Wow!!! Just what I’m looking to do on a clear glass floor vase 🏺 Questions: 1. Can I use mod podge as well? 2. If so what do I seal the vase with once complete and dried? 3. Once I seal the stencils can I use a product I found on Amazon in the states called Triple Thick Gloss Glaze? 4. What is the white product you’re using to paint the stencils on the glass is that the primer? Or if I even wanted to use some silver paint could I use silver paint inside the stencils? Hi, thank you for your kind words ❤️❤️❤️ and really sorry for late reply. Here is the answers: 1. Yes you can use Mod Podge, of course. 2 and 3 you can seal with any varnish you like, if it not meant to be often in contact with water then triple thick gloss glaze will be very good, I have this product too and I really like this product. If you want to be hand washable then I would recommend heavy duty varnish or lacquer for exterior use, you can find on US Amazon I'm sure, just read reviews to decide which product is better. 4. The white product I use along with stencil is modeling (structure) paste, I'm sure you have variety on US Amazon too. This paste once it dried, have to be varnished over with thin brush to protect from chipping and staining. But I have to admit that this paste stays quite strong on smooth glass surface.
