Been making turkeys in mine for a while now! It works great! Is it better than a big roaster oven? Well, I'm not convinced! IMO the roaster can do better cuz you can have better control over the cook and can baste the bird thru its cooking cycle. But that all said the Big Easy is as the name implies, super easy! No need to babysit at all.

Got one, does Turkey, chicken, duck, beef and pork butt. LOVE it. I have the big easy 3 in 1 and it fit a 20 pound Turkey that I broth and butter injected. Super good.
