This looks effective. A guy armed with a stick would have some sort of confidence that his weaponless victim will not rush towards him. So in this defense, the attacker is taken by surprise.

I agree with MrAbogareeb, I would like to see techniques against knife attacks. I like this series a lot - it demonstrates to me how practical, natural, and effective Krav Maga is.

How would the defense technique change when the attacker is using two hands on the stick as in a baseball bat type attack?. Since now the attcker now has both arms up, does the defense still burst in, attempt to interrupt the movement of the arms, and then combatives from there?

Well hopefully all the attackers ain't well trained. I practiced escrima for 6 years (in France) the step forward from the Krav instructor would be most likely is last one against a foil or "fleuret" in French. But here he is talking about a stick wich is less lightening fast than a "fleuret".
