Buen vídeo..!! En la defensa de bandeja , a veces, no hace falta el giro, si la pelota va muy rápida y con un cierto ángulo de rebote en la pared del fondo. Así, al menos, lo he aprendido..

Hi Dario, all the rules of our “defending the corner” video are important to know. With side slice, you have to be a little bit closer to the sidewall. That is the only difference

When defending the bandeja on the left, do the same principles apply ? Or should I avoid playing down the line with my backhand because my opponent has his forhand there ?

Hi Stijn, the same rules apply. It is more math. You give away less angle, that is the most important :)
