How to Delete Shows From YouTube TV's Resume Watching Section!

Thanks that is useful. Given that KZbinTV seems to be doing a number of interface enhancements lately I hope they make this easier, as well as introduce a way to delete something from the recorded programs menu.

To mark as watched from TV, FF to the end, rewind one press, and let it play to the end until the clock icon displays on the next show.

I have done that too to remove something I was watching and want delate from resuming. 😊

Michael, thanks for another great video. Recently the regular "KZbin" app on my Roku device wouldn't open unless I signed in. I usually surf KZbin on my laptop so I never signed in on the Roku. I went ahead and signed into my YT account and lots of things I have accessed previously showed up in droves on the Roku. As a result, I deleted my watch and search history on YT. When I later accessed KZbin TV on the Roku device, I noticed that all the shows that previously had been marked with the "watched" stamp had been cleared. So even though they are two separate apps, if you alter one it apparently affects the other. Not the end of the world, but a little bit annoying... Is there a work-around to access the YT app on Roku without signing in, like it was before? Thanks

I dont have KZbin Tv, but I have this problem with out apps. How do you clear out resume watched with those apps?

That's what Netflix used to be like when Deleting watched show was only possible on the app, Before Netflix added that feature to other platforms.

Not being able to do it all from my TV is a dealbreaker. Also they don't let you only record new shows.

Non of this worked. I turn to family guy for 5 seconds and now it’s stuck in my queue forever. It’s intentionally annoying on KZbin’s side. Enough to make me cancel my membership

@MichaelSaves Does not work for me. I've tried everything. I have that stupid new Library with the new tabs, New for you, Recently recorded, Most watched, etc. I HATE IT........I The Older Tabs Were Better. I wish KZbin would give us an option to record new shows only new and reruns and a way to delete shows we do not want to keep. They are fixing to loose not only me as a customer, but about 30 friends I have for the same reason. This stupid new tab system. Thank you

What doesn't work? You seem to be talking about the library, not resume watching? I understand your point though.

@@MichaelSaves I was talking about what you showed, the resume watching under the home tab. It does not work for a single show even. And this new layout is a mess. For instance: Under new for you, I’ve watched the shows. Do not understand why they are still there! Under Recently Watched: All the shows I have completely watched are not marked WATCHED in the upper left corner thumbnail, some are others not.! The old setup was at least better Michael than this mess. I even have series recorded like FBI. Saying like continue watching Season 14 Episode 4. Go to either my desktop computer or iPhone if is watched. But go to it on the television it shows it has like 45:10 left. It’s crazy! Lord I Pray KZbin would give us the options to Delete, Record New Only or New & Reruns. Thank You 🙏 Michael. I love your videos BTW..!

@@vancecost ok I’m sorry it didn’t work. I gave three ways that work - but not in the same scenarios. I read your reply about the library. Just making sure - your watch history isn’t paused, is it? If so that could mess up the experience.

@@MichaelSaves Under each tab I have hit the pause button shows ( X ) then unpause no ( X ) signed out and back in and still the same. I have 4 65” or larger flat screen smart televisions and tried every step on each one. Still the same as stated in my previous post. Thank you Michael. Have a Great Afternoon…!

HOLY SMOKES... i just read comments....and some say you can't record ONLY NEW SHOWS ..?? what the ...... and your video insinuating that it is a pain in the ..... to get rid of partially watched shows....try this...try that...go here... use another device,,?? ayyiyi.....holy smokestack batman.... c'mon youtube...... why so complicated.... ( i am a "possible" cord cutter to YT customer....and i hate change....because of issues like these... )
