Hello, does the frequency change, through feedback, or is the pulse width the one that changes with a fixed frequency, to fix the output voltage, to the required voltage, thank you very much
@FoolishEngineer2 жыл бұрын
The pulse width changes only, frequency stays constant

Hi, rally it good thanks you so much. And please tell how to select topology and what are the critical parameters consider for converter topology selection. E.g 48vdc input, o/p 12v/10A isolation cccv driver for charging application, this we can design flyback or forward or push pull or half bridge. But how to select for topology for start up. Pls help me

Where can I purchase a 12v DC to 28v DC step up converter about 200Watt 6amp output, that is ISOLATED with separate transformer contained?

Hello I hope you can reply to my comments i am having issues with push pull converter at high dcv from 40 volt and up my push pull converter at 31khz mosfet burning it self up at zero load I use a 6 amp totem pole driver and pnp and diodes to drive the mosfets properly but the higher the voltage get the faster the mosfets burn up I use irfb4110 mosfets rating for 100 volt and hy4008 rated for 80volt any voltage voltage above 42 volt the mosfets slowly increase temperature and burn up at zero load even when I reduce amp to 1 amp the mosfets still burn up the gate voltage is 15 volt pulse

what is pfc ?
@smartups16 жыл бұрын
Foolish Engineer pfc is a power factor correction . activly or passively.

I have a similar circuit and I am wondering if the high voltage spikes on the secondary are normal.
@FoolishEngineer3 жыл бұрын
Yes, if you want minimize those losses, please use Snubber!

what is the graph that you used to select the core?
@FoolishEngineer3 жыл бұрын
tjis graphs is power vs core selection graph you can get this graph from particular core manufacturer or in any reference book,

Except for the turning number of the primary and secondary coils, the pulse width of the input will also effect the voltage, right?
@FoolishEngineer5 жыл бұрын
yes as you can see in the formula

Sir please make video on astable multivibrator , explaining it's working in simple way

By any chance, do you know maybe what happens to the secondary voltage and current if you make an extra output voltage with 2 extra diodes in reverse? Example: Output voltage is 70V but by placing 2 diodes and an extra filter I also make -70V. Since you don`t have an extra winding i'm confused. Does the current increase 2 times? the voltage? Or can i just assume the single +70V for the calculation of the trafo? Good video btw!

May i know what is the feedback on the circuit?The one that connects the load and the mosfet
@FoolishEngineer4 жыл бұрын
That's a PI controller close-loop feedback system

Really nice video, and great explanation too! I'm currently working on my final year project on push pull transistor converters. I'll love to know what kind of circuit can be used as feedback in your design

May I know why do you want it?
@nal16084 жыл бұрын
To get 100v from 10v

As transformer is a AC machine then how it does works in DC voltage
@atifiqbal73974 жыл бұрын
They work for DC during short transient period. Remember here we are talking about high switching frequency (50 KhZ).
