To signal the generator to turn on and turn it back off when needed.

I am working on a change over switch, but my generator uses key starter, where will i plug in the two wires coming from my change over to automatically turn off the generator

There is a circuit diagram but it is on paid version. Maybe you would want to get that and schedule a consultation with the one of the team engineers

You need to know the estimated load of your home sir. After that you can choose the contactor current rating. Also it will be wise to go for 220-240V coil breakers and contactors
