reminds me of one of my first CK3 MP game .. started as a small duke in mongolia, formed Mongolia, took over the local khanate, grew it, reformed tengri, became the great khan, conquered like mad and lived to a whopping age of 107 ... aand didnt collapse afterwards. guess i had a lot of luck, when my ruler hit 107 years, steam told me that i had a total gametime of 107 hours in CK3.. so, not really a mastered even a single thing in the game. i just wish it was a single player iron man mode game, no idea how many achievements that run would have unlocked, but we canned it, cause it was no fun for the rest of the players anymore

I remember when me and my friend played ck3, then the mongols arrived in Europe, so we were panicing, and I, as jerusalem, decided to assasinate the mongol leader, because i had 95% somehow. It was succesful, and the mongolians just disappeard, and left a lot of very weak nations. That was really funny for us.

I've experienced a 'Mongol invasion of Mongolia' myself. In my case was was the Empress of India, Persia & Tibet who decided to form the Empire of Mongolia before Genghis Khan showed up. I had conquered enough to form the title basically a year before he spawns right on top of me. He lost because I had 100k men and after that he was down to 5k men. He tried again 5 years later and got crushed (I mean, 5k vs 100k. really?). After the second truce ended I attacked first, unladed him & he was never seen again.

I just finished conquering Italy and reformed the Roman empire before accidentally losing the second invasion of the mongols because my ruler got kidnapped while i was chasing what I THOUGHT was his force. So they owned all of north Africa, eastern Europe, Italy, Brittany, pieces of west francia, Arabia, the Caucasus, etc, etc, etc, and all I was left with was a king title with only a couple random African counties 😭 ironman run was wild at least i got a few acheivements but man i built byzantium into rome from 867 to 1200ish
