Why didn't you torque the ball joint nuts?
@BigFrogs4x43 жыл бұрын
Theres too many different torque specs to list them. And if done properly you shouldn't need to.

I'dike to see this job on a 2000 WJ. With no front axel. 4x4. 2 wheel drive.

Hi! Love your channel. Question, Is this the same for a 2017 jeep cherokee 4x4?
@BigFrogs4x43 жыл бұрын
It is not. The 2017 is an independent front suspension. But the concept of press old out and press new in probably still apply. Some vehicles do require replacement of the complete control arm.

Why does the lower look like it's in crooked? 27:20
@BigFrogs4x43 жыл бұрын
Because the axle has a slight wedge shape. It tappers.

Never back out the nut to put a cotter pin in. Tighten to the next slot. Also you didn't torque the nuts!
@BigFrogs4x43 жыл бұрын
The process is pretty much the same on any of these style steering set ups. Sometimes you can't go tighter and need to back off a little. Torque specs would be different on every vehicle and manufacturer of ends. Everyone should always look up their own torque spec if they want them. Thanks for the recommendations. We all learn from each other.
