I really appreciate these vids. It looks like you get the most important info and main ideas from these very high value sources and just streamline em into one video. This style works for me perfectly

1. Pick a certain time and study/work everyday at that time. 2. Plan the day before what exactly will be studied/done so the clarity is there. And start small if you have never done it - you don't need to do deep work for 90 minutes straight the first time and instead do maybe 20-30 minutes. And it isn't just a matter a matter of you should or shouldn't but you must not because let's say you do plank for as long as you can on the first day. You are gonna get pain, like real pain and you won't be motivated to do it again. 3. Track your deep work sessions. You may do 50 minutes today and zero tomorrow. But what you need to see is whether you are consistent on a weekly and monthly basis and not consistency but rather small increments for when you are starting. Consistency isn't just up, up, up but rather it fluctuates but as long as the average hour of deep work increases on a weekly and monthly basis. 4. Make your work space clean and free of distractions. Optimize it. Make your screen (if you are working/studying with a computer) be on the same level as you eyes, for example. 5. Have no distractions. Put your phone on airplane mode while working/studying. Basically, have as little distractions as you can, ideally, zero. Deep work is a skill to be learned. It is a way of life. And it is what separates us from the greats, the geniuses - they had the ability to just sit down, focus deeply and just get the things they wanted to get done done, which in turn made their life meaningful. It can also change our life and make it more meaningful once we just learned it and do it. And It is a way of life!
