I love these almost time-loop videos, where we can see the result of what you do after a growing season or two. Keep them coming! 👍👍

These videos where you show the results of the techniques that you apply are really really cool. There are so many videos that leave me hanging on YT... especially styling videos, where one can never be sure if the tree will even live after. So this kind of presentation is greatly appreciated I'm sure by many of your viewers.

Great video. Out of all the bonsai content creators, you are my favorite. Jelle, you always put so much work into your videos. Once again, great video!💚

More likely to watch short videos especially in the morning. Afternoon, more likely to watch longer videos. Just make what feels right to you, keep it a passion and the rest will sort itself out. You videos are excellent either way.

Thanks Jelle, I really would prefer the longer period videos because all work done has a long term focus and so the relations between all the single actions is much clearer. Thanks a lot for your great work for the community.

I like both kinds of videos. The shorter ones are grate for getting information on techniques and how to do them. And the long ones are grate for seeing how those techniques can work in practice.

I really like seeing how specific techniques and design choices result in the trees developing across a timeline

I love all the videos but I prefer the longer videos (15-30 mins) where you explain the reasoning and the method in greater detail. The videos like this one which you show multiple times of the year on the same tree are the best videos on KZbin because I see the method, the reason, and the effects of your work AND also what you do the next time you revisit the tree. I love the vids where you discuss the exact tree multiple times over years of development. I also love it when you go specifically into one species, bonsai style, or method for the whole video. I also like when you compare and contrast two different trees (or same species at different ages or levels of development).

Thanks Jelle. I like the longer videos personally. You're truly excellent at what you do and the time you spend creating and releasing content is very much appreciated by many of us online. Thanks for bringing much enjoyment to your many subscribers

Definitely the longer cycle videos for me. My biggest challenge is visualising the design and then understanding what and when is necessary to deliver it.

Great video perfect length and showing of development of the pine. This is exactly what we need. There are so many videos about initial styling but not many that show refining. Thank you 😊

Please keep up with the longer, detailed videos.
@Jey12526 күн бұрын
I like the 20 min or so like this. You give detailed information on a topic or species in a good amount of time. That helps me a lot. If a video is not quite new to me in terms of information, then you have still divided the videos into chapters. This is also not a matter of course. If you want short videos, then I think youtube shorts are a good way to show a long-term development in a compact way or to give a very special tree a moment of attention.

This is my favorite format. If it's just a technique, but you have no idea why you're applying it, you are not really learning. And always having your eyes on the end goal helps immensely.

Jelle, Thank you very much for these videos...I have been looking forward to seeing ones on ' work on Scots Pine'... There is definitely a place for these longer studies, getting to grips with the finer detail. I have a Scots Pine (about 35 years old) which I am looking to develop with further refinement. .. I have a long way to go! 😊

I find long videos a bit confusing at times. Just de wired a Spruce which was wired in Spring. Scots pine de wired in June from winter. Giving up on fine wire as it seems ineffective over short time frames. Pine pruning is tricky 😅
