It's so rare to experience the progression of a specific tree in a single video. Seeing the process immediately followed by the results really enhances understanding. Good job, Jelle!

This is now my 'saved' reference for Scots Pine Care. My only clarification relates to when do we candle pinch and why. Up till now I have always candle pinched in spring but only on branches that are 'completed' and inorder to control the growth. Would you agree with this or do you feel we should be pinching our younge rpines in development? In this video you seem to have allowed all the candles to extend until July. Cheers for this excellent video :)

Fantastic demonstration of how to properly prune a pine. Showing the progression in a single video is perfect to see the results of the actions you took. Thank you.

Prachtige video, Jelle. Zoiets duidelijk en leerzaam heb ik nog niet eerder gezien, zelfs niet bij de "grote" jongens. Dankjewel!!!

Thank you Jelle. Really looking forward to using these techniques in the new growing season. I'm still getting confused between techniques specific to Japanese black pine and Scotts pine - this was truly helpful!
