how to run VW Polo Climatronic diagnostic self test error codes, air conditioning display test
Press and hold ECON & RECIRC together then turn on the ignition key 444 02
Or press briefly ECON & RECIRC together displays error codes ? 444 00
Also tests all display digits

Any error codes present will be displayed after the test. To scroll to the next error code, press the „Warmer“ button. When all codes have been displayed, „000“ is displayed. If there are no errors present, „444“ is displayed. To clear the error codes: After the last code is displayed, (i.e. after „000“ is displayed), press and hold „ECON“ for at least 2 seconds. „444“ will be displayed as confirmation that there are no more codes present. To exit the Internal Error Memory Mode: briefly press the „ECON“ button.

Shows the display 4Ft  00. When work, the display flashes and no blower, or maximum blows.

Hello I have a Skoda fabia with the same climatronic. On mine I can’t set a colder temperature than 19C is there something more to it or knows why?

hi. I have the exact same model of VW Polo CLIMAtronic. But for some reason the air coming out is not cold when i set it to low temperature. What can i do?

You may have a problem with the hot cold flap or the aircon needs a recharge

UPDATE: i talked to my mechanic over the phone and he told me he checked everything before he delivered it to me yesterday and nothing was wrong with it, and that i probably turned off the a/c and set it to air only. But there is no a/c button on that model. Is there? Could i have somehow accidentally set it to air-only mode?

@@Imperial_Dynamics Econ is actualy the AC button , if Econ is activated your AC is off and IF Econ is not shown on the screen AC is on.

Hello, how do you turn off that AUTO thing? When I press AUTO button my Cliamatronic locks on random strenght setting (sometimes six bars, sometimes three, etc.). When I move left knob AUTO disappears, but then I go back to say six bars it turns on again. It's pretty annoying and pressing AUTO again doesn't turn it off. Is this somekind bug or error?

Press ECO that turns off the AC compressor. When you turn the temp control that sets that temp with no auto regulating were the air goes

Ok, but when I turn off ECO, AUTO will still pop up. There must be way to have ECO and AUTO turned off at the same time. I had it like that for few weeks.

Yes, just turn the temp control the AUTO will go out, you're in manual control then - that's how to works. AUTO works for me most of the time.

But in my case AUTO regulate power of airflow (thing that is adjusted by left knob), temp control (adjusted by right knob) is always on manual and changing it doesn't affect that AUTO thing. Maybe there is somekind of bug in my Clima.When I press ECO it turns on and when I press it again it turns on, but when I press AUTO it turns on, but pressing (or holding) it again does nothing at all. Only using left knob affect it.

Hmm I'm a bit confused, I think it's working correctly but it might be worth getting a garage to look at it - even if they know !. AUTO regulates everything apart from temperature.
