lol, thanks for the video. Getting the hub motor out takes me 10 seconds after I removed the screws. Just stand on the wheel and see the windings pop out and take it with your hands, done

When I took my wheel apart I used a big flat headed screwdriver and I kept levering it either side it popped the side cases off fairly easily. As for the magnet I stood on the wheel and it popped out probably not the best way I admit but just another way it can be done

Yeah you could use a screwdriver and I like you stand on the wheel method 👍. It wouldn't work on a 5kw wheel tho the magnets are to strong.. Nice to hear from you again hows your bike holding up?

Not to bad tbf I have a new upgraded battery on the way i will be fitting that on as soon as it comes. Hopefully I should get better acceleration and able to go further

You should keep doing your youtube videos bud I liked watching them and seeing what you get up to I bet you can't wait to get your new battery. I've just received my new hall sensors... So I'm back to rebuilding fingers crossed it works again 🙄

For the controller info Ebay item number 163876807109 and contact the seller via e mail they will make you anything you want pall they are not cheap but they are good as my vids have proved... I'm not looking forward to the rebuild but definitely looking forward to twisting the throttle again lol

thanks for sharing .when I test the hall sensors the led light are good bright but when I test the 3 phase windings the led lights are weak and they just turn on when I spin the motor in back ward direction and when spinning forward direction they stay dark any body there to help?

There are two wires that are "learning wires" for the controller to establish which direction your motor runs. Just Google "learning wires on controllers" you will find a video!

Hi, I am currently trying to sort my wifes E bike after it stopped working ,I have got the exact same tester and I am trying to test the hall sensors. when I spin the wheel I do get 1 or 2 of all 3 lights showing but looking at the paperwork it sort of implies at some stage all 3 lights would be on ...is that correct because I can get all lights individually lighting or even a pair but never 3 ..any ideas ? thx

There should be 3 lights in a row when you turn the wheel mate them 3 will light up separately turn your wheel slowly. Them 3 are for your windings. The other 3 lights should also light up separately in a row and they will be for your hall sensors. Any that don't light up means they are damaged. All 3 don't need to show together. Hope this helps 👍

@@theebikenut4679 thanks .also just done the same test that you was doing at 5,40 and mine is doing what yours was doing on operating throttle ie.2 pairs of lights but random and not aa bb,cc, did you find out why yours suddenly corrected itself ?

@@igarratt no i didnt actually i guessed the wires were on the wrong way when i first tried it . i would check that.... let me know if you figure it out.

Do you have a link for the rubber tape? that covers the wires going into the motor.
