Great Job young man!!! RBC= 6.05 and rising a point each blood test. MCV= 74 has been this way since 2020. I have had 7 blood test from 2020 to 05/10/2022. My doctors I have had 5 different ones. And neither doctor has address this! You are the first! My Mentzer index # = 12.23 But I'm not sure what to do next? My past and present doctor just looks at numbers but say nothing? They just move on to something else! Should I do or say something? Thank you.

Request ur doctor to prescribe a hb HPLC test...there u can find out any abnormal hemoglobin in ur blood....once consult a physician before proceeding further

Hi Doctor, any specific way by which we can distinguish between beta thalassemia minor and iron deficiency anemia, MENTZER INDEX is around 76/3.2 = 23.75 , Only mildly elevated Hb A2 - 6.1, serum iron - 46, serium ferratin - 110, transferrin - 17%, some doctors suggest taking iron supplements and some suggest not to take, what to do?

Just explore "CONTENT" tab in udaan app, then go under biology section , then inheritance and variations. For 'molecular basis' go to batch "NEET UDAAN EXCLUSIVE" , then under videos u will find respective live lectures
