I smiled all they way through your video. I was born and raised in this area and spent so many days clamming with family and friends. You are and brothers are so sweet and all of you are learning to gather food the old fashioned way. Watching you get your fist horse clam was so awesome. Keep clamming and spending that quality time with your brothers. So when you are old like me yi can have these wonderful memories. Thank you for the great smiles this morning.

I learned how to fish squid from your videos and some generous people at The Wheel. Last winter was my first season. I know some people aren't happy about more people filling up the docks but I greatly appreciate your sharing. It's also good to see others teaching and passing along information to you. More people need to know about and enjoy these resources so they will fight to keep them managed properly and protect them for future generations, even if we don't all agree on how to best do that.

@LepzOnerDanh4 жыл бұрын
Read the tide chart, best time is 1-2hrs before low tide.

I havent found any horse clams when going to dash point. Do you have to go very early in the morning when its very low tide?
@fishingwithseabass4 жыл бұрын
Make sure you go on a low tide and check the tide chart before you head out it will save you time and gas money.

Sweet vid I dig it! Get it dig? Lol curious have you ever tried using salt to dig for clams? On another note great camera work! What type of camera do you use Seabass?

I try salt on razor clams down or ocean shore but it doesn’t work, i’m just using my iPhone 12 for video 😂

I have a question about using salt in the salt water. With the salt water how much salt does it take to get the salinity high enough to affect the clams

I would advice everybody to check on WFWD health status on any each before you go because as of right now dash point is closed due to pollution.
@futures0034 жыл бұрын
WDFW shows a part of dash point is open and water is approved? surrounding areas are polluted but not all of it.
@fishingwithseabass4 жыл бұрын
Pollution level is low that’s why they re-open it the clams season this year at dash point. Other than that WDFW will not open it. Regulation is updated to recent. All clams are safe to harvest.
