Very helpful! The clear plastic cap with the gasket in my machine is so caked in scum I thought I was doing something wrong trying to pull it out... it's completely stuck! 🤢

Great video! Mine is not dispensing hot water. It gets warm, but never hot. The inlets are clean. The flow maybe seems a little weaker than before too? Not sure. Thanks!

At 6:39, the white circle, is that the drain? Is it accessible? I have buildup underneath in the reservoir right before drain pump so I'm guessing i need to clean it up from the top.

Is that water supposed to be there in that top part? Also my washer doesn't have a spanner nut, center shaft Or that piece the spanner but goes on 😲😳

Hi, my understanding is that whatever that is inside the tub, it is supposed to be there to balance the tub. I made an attempt to drain some of it and see what it was and I was unsuccessful. I could not find an access point. If you have the same washer that I have and you do not have a spanner nut or center shaft it might be because someone worked on it before and never replaced it. Otherwise, it might be because you have a different brand, model, etc. Washing machines have different designs and based on the brand and model, there might be different parts and ways to disassemble them.

How did you determine the correct spanner wrench for this job?

The way that I searched for mine is that I typed the brand name with the spanner wrench in Amazon. You can probably Google the same and you will find it
