Wouldn't that be nice! The sad thing is that most children wouldn't even listen to it unless it was already being taught in their homes, becoming part of their home culture. Social culture is supposed to be influenced by home cultures, not the other way around. Just an extra thought. :)

The TSG lifestyle is so helpful. I know what I need to do and say in pretty much any situation now, I don’t have to figure it all out as I go. This has relieved such a burden for me. They need skills. If they see they can get more of their way when they use better communication skills, they will change their habits. Of course habit breaking takes time.

TSG isn't something that is forced on our children. It's something that we, as. parents, have to adopt first, THEN teach to our children. So, maybe try some of the skills yourself and see how it goes!
