Its not punishment, It's positive consequences vs negative consequences. Strong willed children need rewards as they don't respond to fear. The Parent Project teaches this. Changed my parenting life raising brown children.

What can you so if you have a strong willed non verbal but, smart with everything else toddler that throws a fit even after you give them the reward? The reward usually works but, a lot of times she throws a fit and starts attacking me and others around her. She destroys when upset. She isn't expose to anyone but, me and i never do anything like that. I try to give hugs and she always pushes me away, even when not throwing a tantrum. I'm trying not to do the "popping" on the hands but, i tried all the positive ways. She seems to only learn from negative consequences. One time, i did have to pop her hands because she was peeling wall paint off the apartment walls. Took 2 times and never again.

@@ejacks12002 You didn't try grounding her or taking something away or even a timeout?

What PRECISELY do you mean by 'overly soft'? Your attitude is so I indicative of the mean, angry black female stigma.

Turn to Jesus people he died for your sins, Repent of what the New Testament describes as sin. Believe the gospel obey the teachings of Jesus documented in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Jesus is the only way to be saved, be baptized if you have faith in Jesus then you will live life with him as your example. If you need prayer i'll pray for you. If you want to keep contact with a brother in Christ i’ll keep contact with you. The love of God is beyond our understanding. God bless

Yeah but see thats not really helpful for raising children. Like regardless of my sins being absolved, I still have to raise my children in a society of systemic racism.
@weknowhisvoice92963 жыл бұрын
@@elenapederson1862 what is it really matter if you raise your kids up with awareness of racism. But in the end you die and lose your souls. Jesus died for all men and women of all races. To save them from destruction. And I don't know if you are African American or not. But as far as our ancestors go. I believe that they were enslaved in Africa because they were Christians. It's already a known fact that West Africans were also Christians a century at bare minimum before Europeans ever touch down for the Atlantic slave trade. Racism is a thing for sure but don't allow that smoke screen to keep you away from salvation in Jesus. And also if you want an information on why I believe that Africans were already Christians and enslaved our Christianity. Just let me know
