awesome so happy i came across this video my washing is due for delivery i was told that i needed to disconnect the machine i went in a panic mode cause am thinking how and what to do, but luckily i came across this video with step by step guidelines thought it was going to be hard work but it was so easy to disconnect. thanks

My waste water pipe has a jubilee clip round it, does anyone know if I have to reattach the clip once I’ve removed the pipe? Scared the sink will leak everywhere once it’s gone 🙈

I did this and as soon as I pulled the machine out the pipe broke off for the water and flooded my house!! I would definitely say to put water off first then pull machine out!

I turned that blue switch and disconnected the machine. It did nothing, so I flooded my kitchen, Eventually I found the main switch to turn off the main supply.

Do not listen to this man! Turn off the water valve first, THEN disconnect the water pipe from your washing machine. That way you don’t get water everywhere. The other way is craziness.

That's what he did in the video. Turned off water supply first, then disconnected the water pipe. Then he disconnected the water intake and waste water hose.

I deliver for AO, with the infeed water pipe, you disconnect at the source first, vacuum will hold any residual water. Then you pull the pipe through and keep it level with the other end and unplumb that. Finally, keeping both ends level to avoid drip, you stow the water pipe in the drum. Edit: also stuff the waste pipe with kitchen roll to prevent drip.
