How to DIY Limewash a Brick House

That feeling you get when you’ve always wanted a white brick house and you finally start to make it happen 🙌
I get it - painting brick can be controversial. But you will never be wrong for doing something that will help you love your home even more!!
I’m using Romabio's Classico limewash in Avorio and it’s the PERFECT dreamy shade of timeless white.
We didn’t have a ton of brick out back, so I decided to just use a masonry brush. It was a lot of work but saved me lots of prep time! But don’t worry - I’ll be spraying the front of the house!
My heart skipped a beat when I stepped back to take it all in… the brick, the pavers… this is exactly what I’ve dreamed of!!!

I love it white, looks nice and clean. How much of a pain is it to maintain? I’m contemplating doing this to our brick

It was so perfect before not bright red not stark blinding white 😢

If your brick has efflorescence, do you need to remove before applying the lime wash?
