Limewashing A House With Romabio First Time!

We used Romabio for the first time and it came out great!

You didn't make it thick enough.... it should have been thicker or a second coat so it covered the grout and everything thoroughly .... then went back and sprayed off or rag rub off, bits here and there, to give it a proper look, versus dental denture look, with all the grout lines visible through the white...

@@YourOwnAdventure Concerning the limewash opinion: I'm of the opinion the rest should be done. Then again to me it looks like yo ucould almost go over the whole thing again with another coat. Kinda about hwo thigns worked with the last house my family was at. First coat basically soaked in, so us starting out with paint that ended up drying the wrong color turned out to not really matter since it effectivly was both primer and sealer for the top coat to go over. Also three hours tracks for a single side compared to how we went.

This is a very distressed limewash, I agree. We actually sold this house but if we were to do it again I'd go for a fully opaque for the reasons you pointed out. In this area, though, the distressed limewash look was very popular and it influenced us.
