For future videos like this, I would recommend that you show minion hp-values. It may seem trivial, but hp-values are hugely important when it comes to lane-management, and I don't see a reason to hide it from the viewer. Otherwise, good video.

@AltChar Seriously though you missed the very important component of freezing the lane when you get back. Otherwise Jax will just call for jungle help and equalize the lead.

I feel like this video skipped over the lane management portion. A big part of cheater recalling is setting up slow pushes. You tell us where the wave should be but not why and how.

@@ShipeMMO He was matching Jax's autos to keep equilibrium with 2 creeps left one should be at around 1/3 hp and the other around 2/3, in the video he does it correctly. Can you explain why you think its "too fast"

​@@THATGUY4474 I actually see a ton of high elo players recall very frequently. The amount of recalling challenger players do still surprises me sometimes. If you time your recall correctly you lose very little to 0 exp and gold if it's timed well. I feel this works especially well in lower elo when people don't know much about wave management. People recall after taking a bad trade, are low on mana, are diveable by enemy top + jungle (or even mid / support sometimes) or simply they can buy an item. Even if it's a small one. An early extra longsword can actually go a long way sometimes. Some really good times to recall are: - When you have just pushed your wave to the enemy turret - On canon wave (Canon takes long to die so if the enemy pushes to you, the turret takes forever to kill the cannon and that means you lose barely any minions) - When your lane is frozen and the enemy isn't there to break the freeze. For example because they're dead. (Frozen lane means the enemy has more minions than you. A rule of thumb is 4 extra for a sweet spot. And it needs to be away from your turret.) This requires a bit of self control but I see it all the time in high elo. When a lane is frozen and the enemy is dead or TP'd away, what you can do is NOT KILL the minions and just recall if the wave is in a good spot. This means the minions are fighting in the lane, away from your turret and due to the enemy having extra minions. It means the enemy minions will win the "mini war" and way more of your minions compared to the enemy minions will die. Denying the enemy player a lot of exp and gold. While you get to kill the remaining enemy minions as soon as you return. The wave must be frozen in a place where the enemy minions keep killing yours but not fast enough to push it into the turret

I love doing this on irelia, but I slow push 1 and 2 then fast push 3 with her q, back and get a d blade. Then you just auto win most all ins.

You don't get behind in xp if the wave is big enough to prevent opponent from freezing and it all gets undet turret. :) You ll maybe lose one or two cs worth of xp Wich you will get back really quickly

You actually got an advantage by killing the third wave you are putting pressure on the enemy and you already got the wave the enemy is killing right now so you are "even" when you get to the lane except your enemy might be low health cause he traded with you earlier and you have an extra item that gives you an advantage which is pretty good at lvl 2-4 ish

in lower elo i used to point to my enemy that i start with ignite on top so i can get my prio on lane easily . unless i play riven where i can kill someone with ignite lvl 1 .it's really silly but using all chat u can manipulate ur enemy team in such small ways

you may also take the priority you have and invade the enemy jungler or gain vision, so map awareness is critical

Since when is this cheating it’s just wave management and when they other person returns you have a lvl advt and lvl 4 is stronger than lvl 3 with a long sword

you will not have a level disadvantage if ur doing this properly. the reason this is called "cheater" recall is because u lose at most 1 minion while having an item advantage. if ur lower level than your enemy then its probably because u are doing it wrong.

When this strategy was initially tested by korean pros with LS, one of the things they were doing was to find ways of countering it. They noted that there simply was no counterplay, outside of jungle interaction or simply having lane priority to begin with, in which case you should be the one cheater recalling. In response to this, one of the pros called someone else a "cheater" since there's no counterplay, hence the name "Cheater recall".
