I thought you had to set the heater control to the hottest setting and fan control off, then run the car with the radiator cap off and wait for the cooling fans to kick on to burp the entire system?

You just drained and refilled the radiator. What about the coolant that is in the engine block?

After we drained the coolant. I forgot to record we filled it back up with distilled water and ran it for about 15 minutes with the heat on as hot as it could get. Then we drained that. Put about half way of the new coolant and did it again to make sure no water was in the system. Drained again then refilled it with fresh coolant. I do plan on re doing this video when the time comes because I realized I could do it better.

@@Brownbroscornhole Thanks for the reply! So how much total antifreeze did you use as a proportion to the full capacity, when all was finished? I'd like to know how much antifreeze to buy before starting.

@@twincams350 I believe I bought 3 containers of it if I remember correctly. It's cheap for the oem stuff and that's what I run. I still have a gallon and a little bit I'm a second jug in my garage. So I'd buy 2 to be safe.

How do you remove the ralliart front bumper?

+Stephen Zamora the pop clips on top to remove the black panel. Then underneath there is stuff to remove on the stock under tray which I don't have anymore since I upgraded. Then there is a few on the inside of the front wheels you need to remove that are connected to the bumper. Then there is 2-3 bolts in the center to remove. Then just be easy popping the clips by the fenders don't break them. It sounds like a lot but it's super easy. First time I did it it took 25 minutes because I'm not very good with working on my car as I learn from doing and having friends help.

Hi guys, thanks for this video. I noticed you didn't fill with distilled water and then run car up to temp. Let cool down then drain out. Doesn't this flush system better than just pouring distilled water straight through rad? Also I've heard the HOAT (red) coolant is the superior one?

We started it off camera with distilled water. I don't know why we didn't record that. It was the first time I did that flush since it was new. It had 100k on it. But what I have been told by everyone with Ralliart and Evo X MR is to use oem only fluids trans center and rear diff fluid and coolant. I'd rather be safe than sorry just for my mind lol.
