Everyone's a master woodworker with too much time on thier hands and quick to critique someone's hard work. Great Job on the boards brother. Your video will be very informative to a lot of people. I thought it was pretty original using a super hero for your theme (Deadpool is Awesome by the way) you usually always see people use sports teams for their boards. Nice touch.

Good job on the cornhole...I have a question, I see that you painted the polycrylic on top of the paint...did it hold up pretty well or did the colors of the paint change due to the chemicals in the paint and the polycrylic?

A tack cloth is better then water to remove dust since water will raise the grain of the wood.

lol, nothing says "clean cloth" like hosing it down on the concrete...

Very well done friend

You did a nice job of finding center of the bottom of the hole. Wouldn't you want to bring the same side of the tape to the corner of the board? Just a thought.

Use a Tac cloth instead of a damp cloth. There may be some raising of the grain in the wood caused by a damp cloth. Any paint store would know about Tac cloths

If interested in making designs with stain, use a gel stain and frog tape, it won't bleed

So you want to go with the grain?? 😄😄😄😄🤪🤪🤪

Is there a corn hole regulation for surface smoothness or resistance?
@rockywiley95475 жыл бұрын
Yes, when bags are placed on board they should not slide down via gravity...in other words stay where you put them...
@supertruckerrolling Жыл бұрын
Should use top or next to top grade plywood about $80 a sheet

Do the bags slide smooth on the board?
@brainseeds40465 жыл бұрын
They definitely do! I've had plenty slide off the end.

Do you poly the back too?
@brainseeds40465 жыл бұрын
I didn't, wouldn't worry about it unless you plan on leaving it outside a lot

Do you sand in between each of the 4 coats of polyurethane?
@brainseeds40464 жыл бұрын
No I wouldn't 😁
@JosephWarner Жыл бұрын
Always sand between coats w 220 lightly
@allisonryan76204 жыл бұрын
What kind of tape did you use?
@brainseeds40464 жыл бұрын
Just plain ol masking tape 😁 the blue tape is the best imo.
@markb89542 жыл бұрын
@@brainseeds4046 But the new fangled Green Frog tape is best of all. Apply, press down firmly, and completely sealed.

No offense brother....i enjoyed your video and all...your funny atleast! But the quality of the final outcome was mediocre at best. I guess its fine if your just making a quick set for the backyard. But i hope your not selling those to people with that shotty of work and materials.

"use short side of a credit card" as he uses the long side. " You need to use a credit card and go with the grain of the wood to push down the tape" umm....no you don't...use your hand to push the tape down. Going any way you want. Stopped the video there I couldn't listen anymore to someone who doesn't know what he is doing trying to explain what he doesn't know what he is doing or what he is saying or what time it is or what Batman's real name is....... horrible
