I have NEVER been able to get up into a forearm stand. I have shoulder issues so I assumed i might never get it. Decided to try one last time and came upon your tutorial...Got it first try!!!! Thank you so much for such a detailed and SAFE tutorial. I feel my shoulder may actually get stronger with the aids you suggested (strap and blocks). And a great reminder that our bodies can often do more than our minds allow for with patience and good practices. Thanks so much ❤

Had a whole lot of misapprehensions about angle of upper arms to body. Now I can see that it is very similar to where they would be in a handstand. Being shown the climbing up the wall behind technique has made me more confident that I can slowly build up my strength and awareness of body weight and balance. Very good on detailed and unpretentious instruction, thank you.

@fillyxplorer4 жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks for the video. Quick question, I can deal with the dolphin exercices and everything, but as soon as I get to the wall step (even the easiest one), I can't hold it. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. But every time I tried, I almost crashed my head on the floor. Any tips?
@BlessedYoga4 жыл бұрын
Hey! Did you try with a strap on your arms? Normally the reason we tend to collapse towards the floor is because are elbows flare out to the sides. Make sure you keep pressing your elbows down into the ground and shoulders out of ears.

Is it better to learn this before handstand or handstand before this?🙈
@janini12324 жыл бұрын
I dont have any kind of professional answer, but i find handstand A LOT easier. I could do handstands easily as a kid too. Handstands seem much more achievable to me, because you can take some momentum when going up. (From standing)

Yes totally normal. Absolutely you can take a soft or big bend through your leg if you prefer. The more you practice the easier it will feel :) x
