Just tried this because I was able to do a headstand in the middle of my living room two days ago for 30 seconds without a wall. I use to be able to do crow pose just like I use to be able to do a headstand. So, I thought to myself "why not give it a go?" My first attempt I almost fell face forward, but didn't. I managed to get my feet back down using my core! So, now that I felt where I needed to distribute my weight just by trying it once, I gave it another go and held it for 10 seconds!!! I am super proud of myself. 2 months ago when I went on the scale I weighed 216 lbs. I am not even sure if I am under 200 lbs, but dare I say I don't think I am quite yet. I am a 38 year old female and my big butt lol is able to do headstands and crow pose! I am stoked for sure!!!!

i have to take regular breaks because my thighs hurt so much aaaa. I managed to stay in it for the past few days for about 5 seconds each time, but i'm definitely still not stable enough. I fell this morning and got a bit discouraged but I have to just remember that that's ok, it's all a journey :) i'm still building strength and learning more every day. Thank you for the great video! It's helpful seeing how different teachers approach teaching this pose, learning something different from everyone :)

I dont really understand how to keep my knees stable on my arms. I almost did it once without even thinking about it but the next few times I've tried my knees kept wobbling out of place. Any tips on how to deal with this? Edit: I think I’ve figured it out. It’s best not to completely rely on your arms to keep your knees stable. Instead, use your entire core, look ahead (not down) and keep your breath calm and steady
@mosabi233 жыл бұрын
I have this exact same problem. My arms are just not wide enough to keep my knees stable? I don’t really know
