Very detailed explanation as always. thank you. We see you studied your art thoroughly. When i do the round kicks i sometimes get pains in my inner knees although i pivot. Would you Know why ?
@SimonScher6 жыл бұрын
It’s most likely because you are either turning your body and not pivoting or pivoting and not turning your body. Any disparity of unification of movement will probably manifest as knee pain and lost of power.

This is ITF Taekwondo, which is the original Taekwondo created by General Choi

I'm sure this is unintentional on your part, but there are 2 main styles of TKD: itf and WTC (not wtF). WTF is the kind of Taekwondo that I do when I've just passed a grading and am learning a new pattern. :-)

there could be no perfect round kick. That is false. Your roundkick could be the perfect way to execute but to other martial arts is not to them. The Muay Thai has a different way of executing powerful round kick; and the Japanese karate has a different way of executing their round kick. The only commonality in round kick is it is kick going around and not straight in straight line.
