Really good video! I learned by trial and error on my own why my hammies were cramping up (and that can HURT.) I wish I had found your video months ago when I started this great exercise. It’s helped strengthen my core and improve my posture. I also now use some good (and pricey) resistance bands, but that was only after a couple of months of practice. You are very clear in your videos, and I wish you great success.

Caocao8888, thank you for the kind words and support! It's a great exercise! Usually hamstrings might cramp up the first time around because they're not used to it. But once you get stronger it doesn't really happen as much!

Just found you on you tube. Really helpful thank you. A question I have is will strengthening the muscles in gluten, hips and thighs help with osteoarthritis? It is just beginning and I wanted to do whatever I could to stop its progression. Thank you

Yes absolutely! In the clinic, we see some patients with arthritis and that’s how we treat them: strengthen the muscles around the joint to support it, and we might also do some joint mobilizations and maybe some stretching too. Thank you for watching! I hope the videos help!

Does glute bridge reduce butt fat??

Hey there! Good question! Apparently the scientific research suggests that you can’t target a body part to lose fat there. To lose fat will require the proper diet and exercise (cardio, HIIT, full body workouts, etc). But exercising the glutes will help your help the muscles underneath any fat to get stronger and be more toned. Hope that helps!
